PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt whose entire strength, especially bending strength in the width direction is improved so as to retain the durability and exterior appearance in its original condition. SOLUTION: The belt 1 is put on the waist of trousers, and provided with a belt-state steel plate 5 between a face material 3 and a back material 4 forming the belt 1 along the longitudinal direction of the belt 1 so as to improve the entire strength and the bending strength against the width direction of the belt.
