The invention relates to a method for producing phosphoric acid involving: a formation of a first aqueous slurry containing calcium sulfate dihydrate and phosphoric acid; a formation of a second aqueous slurry containing calcium sulfate hemihydrate and phosphoric acid; a filtering of a mixture comprised of the two slurries through a filter while forming a filter cake simultaneously containing calcium sulfate dihydrate and hemihydrate, and; separating an aqueous phase containing the phosphoric acid.
