<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct device which can effectively and securely inactivate and perish virus. <P>SOLUTION: This duct device is provided with an intake passage 1 to send air from the outside into a room, an air discharge passage 2 to discharge indoor air out of the room, and a ventilator 3. In the ventilator 3, the intake passage 1 and the air discharge passage 2 cross each other, and a total heat exchanger 4 to exchange heat with steam between air passing through the air discharge passage 2 and air passing through the intake passage 1 is provided.
