摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in display quality due to resistance of an auxiliary capacity line. SOLUTION: The surface of an intermediate electrode layer 183 is covered with a dielectric layer 185. A two-terminal type nonlinear element 14 is arranged in the gap between a data line 13 and a pixel electrode 16. To a 2nd conductive layer 142 of the two-terminal type nonlinear element 14, a 1st electrode part 181 is coupled which constitutes a 1st auxiliary capacitor 18a by facing the intermediate electrode layer 183 across the dielectric layer 185. The auxiliary capacity line 17 has a 1st layer 171 and a 2nd layer 172. The 1st layer 171 is covered with an insulating layer 175 which is formed of the same material as the dielectric layer 185 to nearly the same thickness. The 2nd layer 172 is formed of a material having lower resistivity than the 1st layer 171 and conducts to the 1st layer 171 through a contact hole CH1 of the insulating layer 175. A 2nd electrode part 182 of the 2nd layer 172 constitutes a 2nd auxiliary capacitor 18b opposite the intermediate electrode layer 183 across the dielectric layer 185. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
