<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter by an ink jet system forming pixels having color irregularity without having void in the pixels by preventing color mixture between adjoining pixels. <P>SOLUTION: In the color filter having a black matrix 2 and a coloring part, the coloring part comprises two layers different in density. The black matrix has ink repellence to a coloring ink. In a lower layer coloring layer, the film thickness of a peripheral edge is thicker than a center film thickness, and in an upper layer coloring layer the center film thickness is thicker than the film thickness of the peripheral edge. In the lower layer coloring layer, the center film thickness is thicker than the film thickness of the peripheral edge, and in the upper layer coloring layer, the film thickness of the peripheral edge is thicker than the center film thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
