<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of realization of a both-side display, wherein the device can be made thin, and the degradation in a display grade in respective display means can be suppressed, when an illumination means, such as a back light, is commonly used for the display means for the front and the back. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 100 includes the first display means 110 equipped with a display surface on the front, the second display means 120 equipped with a display surface on the back, and the common illumination means 130 for irradiating both of the first display means and the second display means with light. The illumination means 130 has a lightguide member 132 equipped with a first light emission surface 132b facing the first display means and a second light-emitting surface 132c facing the second display means and is arranged with a semi-transmission reflective means 141 between the second light-emitting surface of the light guiding member and the second display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
