<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting contamination with bristles of brushes which brushes are used in a food production line to remove or to equalize excess powder, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This device for detecting contamination with bristles of brushes comprises at least a belt conveyor for transferring foods, rolling brushes for removing or equalizing powder sprinkled on the foods, a suction device for sucking removed powder, and a metal detector for detecting the bristles of brushes contaminated in the food. As the rolling brushes contain a metal, so the food contaminated with the bristles of brushes is detected when passing near the metal detector. Even if the bristles of brushes stick inside the food and undetectable by sight-check, the food contaminated with the bristles is surely detected by mixing the metal in the brushes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
