<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device which improves quality of dynamic image data by image processing on the basis of image processing control information linked to the dynamic image data. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device is installed on such devices as portable equipment and display devices. It processes the dynamic image data obtained from outside on the basis of the image processing control information linked to the dynamic image data and outputs them. The device obtains the dynamic image data for each block including a plurality of unit images and also obtains image processing control information linked to the dynamic image data for each block. Using the information, the device performs image processing on the dynamic image data for each block, and outputs the processed data to an image output device.
