PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter which will not make the operator annoyed about the temporal position for a cover of a terminal block, when wiring a surrounding equipment to the terminal block, and can prevent the operator from missing the terminal block cover or avoid it from falling and breaking. SOLUTION: Electronic gas meters 1, 2, are respectively equipped with terminal blocks 107, 207 which are mounted on print circuit boards 106, 206 built into body cases 10, 20, exposed from the body cases and used for electrical connections with surrounding equipment; and terminal box covers 11, 21 which are arranged on the body cases 10, 20 so as to cover the front section of the terminal blocks 107, 207. In the electronic gas meters 1, 2, a cross-shaped groove 108 and a T-shaped projection 118 or a crank mechanism are utilized, thereby enabling the terminal block cover 11 to be openable, in such a state that the portions of the terminal block cover 11, 21 are fixed to the sides of the body cases 10, 20.
