PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter provided with a communication terminal and a terminal cover for covering the communication terminal, capable of preventing the removed terminal cover from being damaged, lost or like, when removing the terminal cover, and capable of enhancing workability of work using the communication terminal. SOLUTION: This gas meter 1 provided with the communication terminal 20 communicated with a separate communication equipment via a communication line, and the removable terminal cover 1e for covering the communication terminal 20 is provided with a coming-off preventive means 30 for preventing the terminal cover 1e from coming off out of the gas meter 1.
