PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a monitor to surely recognize switching of selective channel. SOLUTION: The polarity of synchronous signal is converted so that the polarity of horizontal synchronous signal (Sh1) and vertical synchronous signal (Sv1) of first channel is positive-positive, the polarity of synchronous signal is converted so that the polarity of horizontal synchronous signal (Sh2) and vertical synchronous signal (Sv2) of second channel is positive-negative, the polarity of synchronous signal is converted so that the polarity of horizontal synchronous signal (Sh3) and vertical synchronous signal (Sv3) of third channel is negative-positive, and the polarity of synchronous signal is converted so that the polarity of horizontal synchronous signal (Sh4) and vertical synchronous signal (Sv4) of fourth channel is negative-negative, regardless of polarity of synchronous signals (Hs1-Hs4, Vs1-Vs4) of input channel. Hence, even if the frequency and polarity of the synchronous signals (Hs1-Hs4, Vs1-Vs4) of each channel are identical, the polarity of the synchronous signals (Sh1-Sh4, Sv1-Sv4) inputted in a monitor differ for each channel, allowing the monitor to surely recognize that the channel has been switched.
