PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder magnetic core component which prevents deformation and damages to a coil, and displays proper performance, to provide its manufacturing method, and to provide a powder magnetic core and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the powder magnetic component 14 includes the processes of forming a tooth portion 4 with a collar by forming under pressure a soft magnetic powder, mounting the coil 6 to a tooth portion 2 of the tooth portion 4 with the collar, arranging within a die 32 the tooth portion 4 having the collar mounted with the coil 6, and forming a yoke portion 5 by forming under pressure the soft magnetic powder 5a, wherein the die 32 is constituted so that it receives a part of an end face 6a on the collar side of the coil 6. When the component is formed under pressure using the die 32, a protective layer 7 for preventing the deformation of the coil 6 at pressure forming is formed, at least on the end face 6a at the collar side of the coil 6.
