PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film fitting apparatus which prevents a circumferential displacement of a cylindrical film without changing a mandrel when the cylindrical film is changed to one having a slightly different folding diameter. SOLUTION: In the label fitting head 10, according to the film fitting apparatus, a label L is opened by a label opener 30 into a cylindrical shape and is formed to have a prescribed opening shape by the mandrel 42 of an opening shaping means 40. The label L is then pushed down from the mandrel 42 by a carrier plate 52 of a label fitting means 50, and is fitted onto the trunk of a bottle B located underneath the mandrel 42 so that the bottle B is inserted into the label L. The mandrel 42 has four opening/closing levers 44, which are inserted into the label L while being closed and then opened to give the label L the prescribed opening shape. When the label L, given the prescribed opening shape by the levers 44, are fitted onto the bottle B, the inner circumferential surface of the label L is sucked to two levers 44.
