PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and an equipment cost by simplifying the structure of a hand device used by being attached to an industrial transfer device. SOLUTION: A base member 10 lockable to a work W with a predetermined positional relation is supported to a support member 30 to be attached to the industrial transfer device to be allowed the movement in a first direction X and a second direction Y different therefrom, an intermediate shaft 24 connected to the base member to restrict its movement in the first direction and allow its movement in the second direction is connected to the support member to allow its movement in the first direction and to restrict its movement in the second direction. First and second engagement parts 26a and 27a engageably/disengageably provided between the base member and the support member are generally engaged with each other by springs 29. In a state where the base member is engagedly pushed toward the work and retreated against the spring to disengage the first engagement part from the second engagement part, a clamp claw 80b provided on the base member can be opened/closed by a support shaft via the intermediate member 24.
