PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pumped-up sand washing and transporting system in a settling basin in which a sand portion is separated, in a multistage system, from sand mixed water recovered from the settling basin or the like to remove contaminants, washed and the washed sand is transiently stored as it is. SOLUTION: The pumped-up sand washing and transporting system is constituted of a plurality of sand pumps P1, P2 and P3 arranged in each of a plurality of block settling basins S1, S2 and S3 arranged and pumping up the sand in the basin bottom, a sand washing and transporting apparatus A arranged on a slab and having a function of washing and transporting the pumped-up sand collected from each of the sand pumps P1, P2 and P3 and a sand washing and storing apparatus B arranged in a higher position and for washing and storing the sand transported from the sand washing and transporting apparatus A.
