PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water production method where the concentration of boron in permeated water can be controlled to a prescribed range regardless of the change in the temperature of raw water, and also, driving can be performed while water production cost is suppressed. SOLUTION: Regarding the method for producing water from raw water comprising boron, raw water is subjected to reverse osmosis separation with a first reverse osmosis membrane module to obtain concentrated water and permeated water, thereafter, the permeated water is subjected to reverse osmosis separation with a second reverse osmosis membrane, and the latter part of the second reverse osmosis membrane is provided with a boron adsorbent, in accordance with the concentration of boron in the produced water detected with a boron concentration detector, prescribed stages are operated in order.
