PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document feeding device capable of stably feeding documents by preventing a protruding part of a document feed belt from coming off a recessed part of a belt roller while dispensing with fitting the document feed belt to the belt roller with high accuracy, and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: An automatic document feeding device 10 is provided with a conveyor belt 30 for feeding documents, and a conveyor belt driving roller 40, a conveyor belt pressing roller 50 and a conveyor belt driven roller 60 around which the conveyor belt 30 is stretched so that a direction approximately orthogonal to a direction to feed documents by the conveyor belt 30 shown by an arrow mark 30a is an axial direction. The conveyor belt 30 is provided with a protrusion row part with a plurality of protrusions 31 intermittently arranged in the document feed direction shown by the arrow mark 30a. The width of a recessed part 61 of the conveyor belt driven roller 60 is narrower than the width of a recessed part 41 of the conveyor belt driving roller 40 and a recessed part 51 of the conveyor belt pressing roller 50.
