The strip has two substrates, an insulation layer and a hydrophilic reaction foil that are connected with each other. A reaction area is formed transparent and the foil covers two electrodes and is formed in the area, in order to affect the foil with a sample which is examined for activating a bio chemical reaction. An opening (12) is provided at a periphery of the area, where the periphery of the opening has a circumflexed projection.
