he invention relates to a rotisserie oven of the closed type destined for roasting meat rotated by skewers 4 or other means. Each lateral opening 3 is closed by two heat-resistant glass panels 2 of equal size and weight, which glass panels balance on two wire ropes 8 while simultaneously moving onto two vertical guides 7. At a push of the handle 27 located at the glass panel 2, the lateral opening 3 opens so that the glass panels mutually diverge to move upward and downward respectively; the inverse push of the handle 27 causes the lateral opening 3 to close and constrains both glass panels to converge. Liquid gas, coal, or both serve for roasting combustible; this is achievable by the combustion unit 12 which is hollow or polygonal in form for diffusing heat 25 and by the easy manner through which same combustion unit 12 is placed on supports 12 or detached therefrom. |
