<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method wherein a specialist in charge can efficiently provide information to remote customers and record situations of information providing efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a mobile terminal 10 that a customer uses and a main terminal 30 that a specialist in charge uses is provided with a camera and a microphone. Images and voice acquired by them are reproduced through display parts and speakers of the mobile terminal 10 and the terminal 30. In addition, on the display parts of the mobile terminal 10 and the terminal 30, images for explanation are displayed in areas, in which person images are not displayed, based on image data for explanation stored in an explanation data storage part 22.
