SEALING DEVICE OF DRIVING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a sealing device of a driving system such as a transmission of a vehicle so that foreign matter such as dust hardly intrudes into an oil seal for enhancing durability of the oil seal interposed between a shaft hole boss part of a companion flange fitted to a rotary shaft by a spline and a sleeve part of a bearing retainer for covering its outer periphery.

SOLUTION: While double slingers 42 and 43 for preventing intrusion of the foreign matter into the oil seal 41 is arranged on the outer periphery of the shaft hole boss part 32b of the companion flange 32, a hole 47 opening on the outer periphery of the sleeve part 36a of the bearing retainer 36 is formed in a space 45 partitioned by the double slingers 42 and 43 between the shaft hole boss part 32b of the companion flange 32 and the sleeve part 36a of the bearing retainer 36.
