<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of starting with a radio unit deenergized from power without deteriorating the serviceability. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal comprises a radio unit 11 for making radio communications, an operating unit 15 for user's operations, and a display 14 for showing information. The radio unit 11 is deenergized from power starts to show a mode select screen on the display 14 for selecting either a usual mode for making radio communications with the radio unit 11 fed with power or a self-mode for actuating other functions than the radio communications without feeding the radio unit 11 with power, thus selecting and executing each mode by the user's operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
