<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "on-board audio system and headphone" in which an L/R output to be heard at a seat can be automatically recognized and outputted regardless of a position of the relevant seat where a headphone is used, the way of mounting the headphone and the like so as to improve operational convenience for users. <P>SOLUTION: A headphone 40 includes an ID storage section 43 which stores a table representing the relationship of correspondence between ID information identifying each of seats and the relevant seat, ID receiving sections 45R, 45L, an RF receiving section 47, a DSP 48, and a control section 41. The control section 41 refers to the table, when ID information transmitted from near a seat where a user sits down is received, to switch the RF receiving section 47 to a receive frequency for the relevant seat for outputting, switches to an L/R audio output to be outputted to the DSP 48 based on a reception strength of the ID information and the sitting position, and outputs the L/R audio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
