<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which is safe and harmless to persons, and can supply a fuel with ease. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system uses methanol as the fuel; and comprises a fuel cell body 1 which generates electric power by an electrochemical reaction of methanol and oxygen, and a fuel supplying means 2 which supplies methanol to the fuel cell body 1.
