摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular fluorescent lamp wherein a protective film is formed in a prescribed film thickness to improve a light flux maintenance ratio, and to provide a luminaire disposed with the fluorescent lamp. <P>SOLUTION: This fluorescent lamp 1 has: an annular bulb 2 formed by connecting a plurality of straight tube bulbs 6, 7, 8 in a nearly same plane state such that the bulb 2 is formed in an annular state by forming both end parts 2A, 2B nearly oppositely to each other; electrode means 3, 3 provided in the annular bulb 2 such that the electrode means 3, 3 can form an electric discharge in a discharge path of the annular bulb 2; the protective film 4 formed on the inner face of each the straight tube bulb 6, 7, 8, having the film thickness of 0.5-10.0 &mu;m; a phosphor layer 5 formed on the surface side of the protective film 4; and a discharge medium sealed inside the annular bulb 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
