<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical thermally sprayed coating-formed member having excellent durability and comprising an inexpensive pattern-representing thermally sprayed coating, and to provide a method for easily and inexpensively producing the thermally sprayed coating-formed member. <P>SOLUTION: The thermally sprayed coating-formed member 1 is obtained by forming a thermally sprayed coating 3 with a single layer structure on the surface of a base material 2, and, the film thickness and denseness of the thermally sprayed coating 3 are partially differentiated, thus a pattern in accordance with the difference in lightness is formed on the surface of the thermally sprayed coating. The thermally sprayed coating-formed member 1 is obtained by installing a masking member 4 on the surface of the base material 2 so as to be arranged at a position separated from the surface by a prescribed amount, then performing thermal spraying from the surface of the masking member 4 to the surface of the base material, and differentiating the film thickness and denseness of the thermally sprayed coating 3 between the part 3b on which the thermal spraying material 3c is thermally sprayed without the interference of the masking member 4 and the part 3a interfered with the masking member 4 in the surface of the base material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
