<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hatch cover opening and closing device capable of automatically stopping without requiring a special device. <P>SOLUTION: This hatch cover opening and closing device equipped with motors 5 and 40 for driving hatch covers 3 and 4, and inverters 51 and 21 varying a frequency of an electric current outputted to the motor and controlling opening and closing of the hatch covers is provided with a controlling means 59 for detecting an electric current value of the output electric current of the inverter by a sensor 58 inside the inverter, and stopping operation of the induction motor when the electric value exceeds a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
