<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating/treating a weakly basic anion exchange resin, capable of suppressing saccharide isomerization due to the weakly basic anion exchange resin such as a weakly basic anion exchange resin based on styrene-based resin when purifying a sugar solution. <P>SOLUTION: This method for regenerating the weakly basic anion exchange resin and applicable to purifying the sugar-containing solution comprises regenerating the weakly basic anion exchange resin with an alkali aqueous solution, washing the resin with water, and contacting the resin with a neutral salt-containing aqueous solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
