<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label creation device accurately reporting a residual amount of an available raw label by effectively using an RFID previously embedded in the raw label even when an unreadable defective raw label having an electrically broken RFID is mixed. <P>SOLUTION: From a single carrier tape 3 carrying a plurality of raw labels 2 with embedded RFID 6 peelably, the number of readable RFID 6 is counted by a transmission/receipt antenna 12. When the number of printed labels, to which authentication information is written already, left inside the label creation device 10 is subtracted from the measured number, the residual amount of usable raw labels is calculated, and the calculation result is displayed by an indicator 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
