<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus having superior visibility, and to provide a thin film transistor display plate used for the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an insulating substrate; first signal lines formed on the insulating substrate; second signal lines intersecting with and insulated from the first signal lines; a first pixel electrode, formed in each pixel region defined by intersection of the first signal lines and the second signal lines; a thin film transistor, having three terminals connected to the first signal line, the second signal line and the first pixel electrode, respectively; at least one or more second pixel electrodes, formed in each pixel region and making capacitive coupling with the first pixel electrode; a coupling electrode connected to the first pixel electrode; and a coupling auxiliary electrode, connected to the second pixel electrode and overlapping the coupling electrode to form a coupling capacitance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
