<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively generate double deep scattering by an elastic resin layer in the case of projecting a light beam onto a head surface by coating the elastic resin layer for the undercoating paint of the head surface since a frosting component is previously mixed in the elastic resin layer, and to protect the undercoating paint so as to raise the additional value of a head in addition to the enhancement of a scattering rate on the surface, a visual effect, a touch feeling, and vibration control property. <P>SOLUTION: The coating layer of the golf club head includes the undercoating paint; the elastic resin layer; and the frosting component. The undercoating paint is painted on the head surface. The elastic resin layer is coated on the undercoating paint. The frosting component is previously mixed in the elastic resin layer. When the light beam is made incident to the elastic resin layer, a double scattering effect is provided by the frosting component in the elastic resin layer.
