<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a motorcycle capable of continuously feeding fuel even when the posture of a vehicle body is largely changed such as when a vehicle travels steep slope while the remaining fuel is small. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel pump unit 50 built in a fuel tank has a cup 51 with a lower portion thereof protruded downward of the fuel tank, a fuel holding member 66 is filled therein to surround the periphery of an intake filter 61 stored in the cup 51, and the filter is held and fixed by a packing 55. A cylindrical vertical wall 56 is integrated with the packing 55.
