PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna the impedance and the resonance frequency of which can easily be adjusted and whose outward appearance is not spoiled. SOLUTION: The patch antenna is provided with: a dielectric board 1; a radiation conductor 2 provided to a ceiling face of the dielectric board 1 whose feeding point F is located at a position of the conductor 2 deviated from the center; a feeding conductor 3 penetrated through the dielectric board 1 and connected to the feeding point F of the radiation conductor 2; and a ground conductor 4 provided to a bottom side of the dielectric board 1 and not in contact with the feeding conductor 3, and a slit 4a for adjusting the impedance or the like is provided to the ground conductor 4. Then the adjustment can be made efficient by specifying in advance an extension direction of the slit 4a. For example, the resonance frequency can almost be kept constant while changing the impedance in response to a cutting amount of the slit 4a by forming the slit 4a in a direction almost orthogonal to a straight line tying the center of the radiation conductor 2 to the feeding point F.
