PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inter-LAN connection device and an inter-LAN connection method capable of eliminating restriction of the number of second routers, etc. arranged on the side of the second router when a first router which performs routing by terminating an IP packet and the second router connected with a communication path with which two or more routers and a communication terminal can be connected and performs routing of the IP packet are connected via a point-to-point network. SOLUTION: The inter-LAN connection device 201 is arranged between a broadcast network 202 and the point-to-point network 203 and stores information about a set of IP address information of a PE router 207, a network address of a subnet to which first and second CE routers 204<SB>1</SB>, 204<SB>2</SB>belong and a net mask. Flow in of unnecessary packet to the first router side is blocked and control for setting courses of the packets to be transmitted to the first and second router sides based on these pieces of information.
