PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio output device having a high articulation even in a working environment emitting large noises. SOLUTION: In the audio output device in a radio communication apparatus, the audio output device is composed of an equalizer, a switch, a control circuit and an input key. In the audio output device, the equalizer has characteristics in which a sound-pressure level has a peak value in a 3.15 kHz band in a 1/3 real-time octave analysis, is reduced monotonously so as to attenuate in 50 dB in a 10 kHz band on the high-frequency side to the peak value, and is attenuated monotonously so as to attenuate in a 60 dB in a 100 Hz band on the low-frequency side.
