PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize source electronic data on the basis of a document image by registering and managing electronic data in a server 60 associated with an electronic paper EP in response to processing of displaying and holding the document image on the electronic paper on the basis of the electronic data in a browsing environment of the document image using the electronic paper. SOLUTION: Document data is provided to the management server 60 in response to the start of processing of displaying and holding the document image on the electronic paper EP by an output device 50, and storage location information of the document data provided from the management server 60 is held on the electronic paper EP together with the document image. Thus a user can access and display out the document data by causing output devices 70 and 80 to read the storage location information with the electronic paper EP as a key.
