PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label which facilitates quantity management and hardly causes trouble such as loss and is superior in handling, specially, when stuck on an object, and a device and method for label sticking with which such a label is efficiently stuck on the object. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the label, such as a certificate stamp, which has a number for label management given on its reverse surface. Further, the label sticking device equipped with a label holder where a plurality of labels are held one over another, a label taking-out and sticking means of sucking and taking labels out of the label holder sheet by sheet and then sticking the labels on the objects, and a monitoring means of confirming numbers of the taken-out labels before the labels are stuck on the objects, is used.
