PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scientific phenomenon evaluating device which is inexpensive, environmentally-friendly, and suitable for readily enjoying advanced technology, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The scientific phenomenon evaluating device comprises a base plate 12, on the surface of a plate body of which a long groove whose cross-section area is 1 mm<SP>2</SP>or less is formed, and a cover plate 22 which is arranged on the surface of the base plate and formes a fine flow passage by covering the long groove. The base plate and the cover plate are tightly fixed, without going through the intermediary of an adhesive to enable visual recognition of a scientific phenomenon in the flow passage. The evaluating device is formed by the manufacturing method, comprising a drying process of heating a resin material to the temperature less than the glass transition temperature Tg in a vacuum level of 0.2 or lower atmospheric pressure; a laminating process of laminating the base plate and the cover plate; and a close fixing process of closely fixing the base plate and the cover plate, while heating them at the temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature Tg.
