PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid flow detection sensor that need not supply drive power, and to provide a living monitoring system using it. SOLUTION: The liquid flow detection sensor (100) comprises a circular body-like flow passage 110 having a flow inlet (102) of a liquid and a flow outlet (104), a float (108) including a magnetic body (114) by being movably arranged in the circular body-like flow passage, and a conductor (106) wound into a circular body-like flow passage. The living monitoring system comprises a computer, having the liquid flow detection sensor (100), an input means (207) for inputting a signal output from the liquid flow detection sensor, and a communication means (205) for transmitting information related to the signal input through the input means via a network (122).
