PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core spray piping tester which enables the scanning of a probe along a weld line snaking on the periphery of a section where pipes cross with each other in a narrow space. SOLUTION: The core spray pipe tester 101 is equipped with a probe 107 which tests a weld in a tester for a weld between a penetration section sparger head 2 of a shroud 1 in a core spray pipe inside a reactor pressure vessel and a horizontal pipe 3 and a probe holding device 108 which scans the probe 107 while maintaining it so that a certain distance can be kept from the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 3 and the probe 107 can be oriented in the normal direction to the outer peripheral surface of the pipe 3.
