PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sheet feeding technology for reducing jumping sound generated when a rear end of a sheet S to be conveyed gets out of a separation pad 4 and providing high silence property. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device is provided with a sheet loading part 1 for loading a plurality of sheets S, a sheet feeding roller 3 for feeding sheets loaded in the sheet loading part 1, and the separation pad 4 provided in the sheet loading part 1, coming into contact with an outer peripheral face of the sheet feeding roller 3 by predetermined pressure, and separating sheets S fed by the sheet feeding roller 3 one by one. A guide member 20 adjacent to a contact face where it comes into contact with the sheet feeding roller 3 is provided on the downstream side in the direction of sheet conveyance of the separation pad 4.
