PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box capable of being easily and compactly folded for waste disposal, recycling or the like, and keeping a rectangular parallelepiped to an external force when it is assembled. SOLUTION: The packaging box is equipped with first folds 11a and 11a formed in the longitudinal direction, respectively, at the approximately central part on a first pair of facing side boards 2 and 2 and being foldable, respective second folds 11b and 11b foldable on respective flaps 4 and 4 for forming a bottom board, and respective third folds 11c and 11c foldable on respective flaps 7 and 7 for forming an upper lid. Widths of a second pair of the facing side boards 2 and 2 are formed to be the same as or narrower than widths of the first pair of the facing side boards 3 and 3. A projection 17a is formed on the apex on one flap 7 for forming the upper lid of the first pair, and a fitting recess 17b engaged in a fitting state to the projection 17a when it is assembled at the apex on the other flap 7 for forming the upper lid of the first pair.
