CONTROL DEVICE OF VEHICLE WITH IDLING STOP FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle equipped with an idling stop function furnished with an automatic transmission structured so that controlling the shift range is conducted to be able to hinder the reversing of a vehicle whose shift range is other than the lowest range at the time of idling stop and either the Auto mode or Manual mode can be executed in accordance with the selection of the driver/passenger, capable of meeting the request of the driver/passenger for the accelerating performance for starting and preventing the vehicle from reversing.

SOLUTION: A control circuit controls the shift range to the first (lowest) when the Manual mode is selected by the driver/passenger while the engine is in the Auto stop and re-starts the engine.
