PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processing apparatus which is capable of obtaining a high-resolution image by adding a high frequency band of a wideband signal to a color signal. SOLUTION: Signals for six lines extracted from signals from a full pixel reading CCD 2 by line memories 11-14 are inputted to a color separator circuit 16 comprised of color separators of primary colors and complementary colors in accordance with a color filter array of the CCD 2, and wideband signal of a G or Y signal is separated from color signals R, G, B by a color separator selected in accordance with the color filter array. The respective signals are limited to appropriate bands by low-pass filters 20, 21, 22, 23. The band-limited signals change gains of RB signals using a white balance circuit 32 and white levels are matched. A high frequency of the wideband signal is extracted by a high-pass filter 34 and this high frequency band is added to R, B signals by adders 35, 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
