PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method by which proper white balance adjustment to image data can be realized. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a high-frequency blurring area detector for executing detection processing of the high-frequency blurring area. A white balance correction factor corresponding to a pixel included in a non-blurring area without blurring and the high-frequency blurring area is calculated in a white balance correction factor calculator. The white balance correction factor is calculated by interpolation only in a low-frequency blurring area. The white balance adjustment with a white balance correction factor corresponding to a pixel without depending on interpolation processing applied thereto is executed to a pixel included in the non-blurring area and the high-frequency blurring area. Consequently, the correction factor calculated by the interpolation can be limited only to the low-frequency blurring area.
