METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS SPHERICAL PARTICLE OF VINYL-BASED POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing porous spherical particles of a vinyl-based polymer, which is a new suspension polymerization method by which formation of aggregate particles and coarse particles is controlled and porous spherical particles having a desired average particle diameter in a specific range and a narrow particle diameter distribution are simply produced. SOLUTION: The method for producing porous spherical particles comprises subjecting a polyfunctional monomer containing two or more vinyl groups and a vinyl-based monomer containing one vinyl group to suspension polymerization in an organic solvent for pores making in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer.
