PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for transmitting distinct type data over a network, the network, an interface, and a port architecture. SOLUTION: The network, constituted into a ring architecture or a link topology, transmits a data according to a specific network protocol, connecting the port in a form of daisy-chain. The incoming data according to the protocol is transmitted to the network. If the incoming data protocol does not agree with the network protocol, the incoming data is not immediately sent to the network, but is routed to an input pin of a device of the network specially designed so that the incoming data might be received. Thus, the network has a port constellation which supports both of a compliant incoming data and a non-compliant incoming data, and a device constellation which brings about such a data.
