PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display unit which can be assembled easily by making electric wiring of an organic EL panel proper. SOLUTION: The organic EL display unit comprises an organic EL panel 1 having a plurality of electrode parts 9, a case body 11 provided with a mount part 11A for arranging the organic EL panel 1, and a lead terminal 12 which is integrally provided with the case body 11 and electrically connected to the respective electrode parts 9 of the organic EL panel 1; and the case body 11 covers the organic EL panel 1 to eliminate direct contact with external components etc., and protect the organic EL panel 1 and the lead terminal 12, integrally provided to the case body 11 enabling proper electric wiring laying to the outside.
