摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transfer of a sheet material which has a relatively short length in a transfer direction, by realizing miniaturization of an entire device. SOLUTION: Lock arms 32a and 32b set rotatably to be engaged with a platen unit 18, and a compression coil spring 24 for urging the lock arms 32a and 32b in a direction to be engaged with the platen unit 18 are set. A platen lock mechanism 19 is provided for locking a platen roller 12 and a heat activation head 11 in a state of press contact. The platen lock mechanism 19 has a lock pin 33 set at the platen unit 12, and an engagement groove 37 formed in the lock arms 32a and 32b for the lock pin 33 to engage with. The platen lock mechanism 19 is set so that an axis of the lock pin 33 is at a position farther than a position of the rotation center of the platen roller 12 with respect to the rotation center of the lock arms 32a and 32b in a state with the heat activation head 11 held in press contact with the platen roller 12.
