PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a maker to supply various kinds of backpack inexpensively, to enable a retail shop to present them with minimum inventories, and to enable an end user to properly purchase, select and use a backpack suited to his/her needs. SOLUTION: The backpack is provided with a backpack body 1 in the state of a bag where the inside of the bag is made to be a housing space and a pair of shoulder belts 20 and 20 on a surface 22, and has a back plate-like body 2 whose rear surface is a connection surface 21 to the rear surface of the backpack body 1. Over through at least the upper edge part and the right and left edge parts among edge parts around the back surface 11 of the backpack body, one fastener 41 of a male/female slide fastener is provided.
